Tebbetts-Taylor: Now I Lay Me Down to Die

Mira Hira (born plain Moira O'Hara in Chicago) owned an exclusive gown shop in Hollywood's Sunset Strip, catering to the stars. Actress Floren Lawrence arrives for a fitting, and is left alone for just a few minutes, only to be found murdered by poison in her drink. The police and a private detective are soon on the case, as it becomes clear this wasn't the result of any recent petty disagreement; the roots of this crime go back many years.
