Summoned to a family friend’s New Jersey estate, criminologist Christopher Page and his man-Friday Ralph Clark intend to track down a missing servant but are quickly embroiled in a murder mystery. The dead man has a dagger in his chest, and events rapidly develop into an action-packed, yet puzzling mystery. Page uses not only his brain, but his hands, as his sculpting skills ‘raise the dead’ from a discovered skull to identify a skeleton. The Resurrection Murder Case was published in 1932.
Reviews
“Mr. Page takes the most complicated plot that has come to the attention of this reviewer in many months and weaves it into a logical and interesting, but baffling story of mystery and adventure. His style leaves little to be desired in a book of this type, his characters are vividly and realistically portrayed and his most bizarre situations are handled so artistically that the imagination of the reader is not overtaxed.” (1932 review)
