Quinny Hite is here again, solving the mystery killing of a young sculptress found dead in her ex-husband’s bed. Quinny’s penchant for feminine forms and hard likker is not overlooked, and Berte Dill, the Potts Crossing heiress, is as hilarious a character as Quinny himself. This is a straight and honest ‘whodunit’ with plenty of comedy. (Miami, FL, Herald, 1946)
